A religious and welfare organization founded in 1985, continuing a mission of service that began in Bangladesh in 1967 — rooted in the Naqshbandia Mujaddadia tradition of Khanqah Sirajia.

Our founding
A response to a beautiful appeal
This beautiful and true appeal of Allah Rabbul Alamin is the mainstream strength — to acquire Allah’s gratitude and reward in both this life and the hereafter. In that spirit, the Siddiq Akbar Foundation, a religious and welfare organization, was established by Ala Hazrat Bhai Abdul Hannan Rahimi (rah) in 1985.
He was popularly revered and known as “Peer Shaheb and Bhaiya Huzur” of Khanka Sirajia of Shankar, Dhanmondi, Dhaka.
The organization was named after the most favoured Khalifa of our Prophet Hazrat Muhammad ﷺ — Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq (ra) — to spread the teachings of our Prophet and to offer religious and welfare service to humanity.

To imbibe and infuse the spirit of true Islamic teachings among all followers of Islam; to bring proper Islamic education, culture and values among us; and to provide vocational training, health service and fellow-feeling for believers — serving the suffering of humanity.

Our history
Khanka Shirajia & the first free clinic
Prior to the formal establishment of the Foundation, the first Peer Waliey Kamel Hazrat Dr. Sayed Mohammad Ali (rah) was directed and sent by his Peer Waliey Hazrat Moulana Khan Muhammad (rah) to Bangladesh in 1967. Upon his arrival he established Khanka Shirajia.
He initiated many religious activities at the khanka in Mirpur, offered Islamic teachings to his followers, and in 1972 started health service for the poor at different places in Bangladesh. Among these, the Nature Cure Homeo Clinic began as a free treatment clinic with free medicines.

Continuity of care
Carried forward, generation to generation
The committee of the Siddiq Akbar Foundation took over all affairs and properties of Khanka Shirajia in 2004.
Presently, both the Khanka Shirajia and the Siddiq Akbar Foundation are led by Hazrat Moulana Aziz Ahmed Sahib (Peer Gadinashin), who has stressed the need for expansion — to provide efficacious service to people in need and to quicken the pace of that service.
Our lineage
From Kundian to Dhaka — one unbroken chain
Khanqah Sirajia founded at Kundian, Mianwali, Punjab.
Dr. Sayed Mohammad Ali (rah) sent to Bangladesh; establishes Khanka Shirajia.
First Nature Cure Homeo Clinic opens — free treatment, free medicine.
Siddiq Akbar Foundation established by Bhai Abdul Hannan Rahimi (rah).
The Foundation takes over all affairs of Khanka Shirajia.
Led by Hazrat Moulana Aziz Ahmed Sahib, Peer Gadinashin.
